Great Grandfather, William John Gaff, Started out with his bullock team in the late 1800’s in Western NSW around the Brewarrina District.
Grandfather, William Albert Gaff, started in transport at the age of 12, working with his father. They had progressed to horse teams and were carting mainly wool and livestock.

Today Rodger and son Jack are proud to continue on the tradition in the transport industry. After a having a break for over a decade they started back in 2018 with one water truck. Now Highlands water cartage has a fleet of semi trailer and B double tankers water tankers.
They have recently expanded into earth moving and final trim excavations. Already they are working on a variety of mine sites and on some of the nations biggest civil projects.
